Computer Engineering is one of the most popular and attractive fields taught in IAU-A's Technology and Engineering Faculty. The Department of Computer Engineering offers programs for interested BS and MS students in software engineering. BS courses in hardware are also offered for those who are willing to follow this strand of computer engineering. Currently, the number of students studying in this department exceeds 450. This department also has two well-equipped computer labs and a very active scientific society in which students are engaged in research activities.
