The Agricultural Department was one of the first departments to be established in the IAU-A. The department has been and still is one of the most active departments in this branch and accepts students for BS and MS programs. This department has different scientific labs including soil and water, biotechnology, tissue culture, botany, entomology, glass greenhouse research, herbarium of medicinal herbs, research plantations, breeding farms, etc. The department offers six strands of agriculture among which are agronomy and plant medicine for students of Bachelor's degree and agronomy and biotechnology of agriculture for students of Master's degree.
